Dr Guy Olorenshaw

Laser eye surgeonDr Guy Olorenshaw is a specialist refractive surgeon who has been performing Refractive surgery in Melbourne since 1996 and LASIK since 1998. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Melbourne in 1984, practicing as a Medical Officer at Melbourne’s St. Vincent’s Hospital prior to commencing his specialist training in Ophthalmology at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. He underwent further training in Bath and at the Bristol Eye Hospital, Bristol, UK in 1994 specialising in diseases of the Anterior Segment and Paediatric Ophthalmology. .


Dr Ron Stasiuk

Laser eye surgeonDr Ron Stasiuk has international experience in cataract, corneal, refractive and Excimer laser surgery. He has lectured extensively both overseas and in Australia, as well as contributing to several books. He is in private practice at Vision Eye Institute, Blackburn South , Melbourne, which he founded. He was one of the first ophthalmologists to perform Excimer laser surgery in Australia in 1991, and LASIK in Victoria in June 1996. He was the first in Australia to implant the diffractive multifocal IOL in 1990 and the ARRAY multifocal in October 1997.


Dr Joseph Reich

Laser eye surgeonDr Joseph Reich is a specialist cataract and refractive surgeon who trained at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne. After graduation, following visits to the United Kingdom and United States, he was appointed as a consultant ophthalmologist to the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and is currently Head of the Clinic and is the Deputy Director of the Clinical School. He is undertaking a great part in undergraduate education and has written many articles in the area of medical education. He has also held a number of positions with the Royal Australian College of Ophthalmologists.


Dr Abi Tenen
M.B.,B.S. (Hons), F.R.A.N.Z.C.O

Dr Abi Tenen completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales and was based at St. Vincent's Hospital Sydney. She trained as an ophthalmologist at the Sydney Eye Hospital and then The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital followed by specialist training in laser refractive surgery. As a cataract surgeon and general ophthalmologist she has voluntarily travelled to work in developing areas of need. Her research in the field of refractive surgery technologies has been presented at numerous national and international conferences including European and American meetings.
